QUINTA GENERACIÓN CABERNET SAUVIGNON



Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%.

Vinification
10 days of fermentation in contact with skin at 30º C, malolactic fermentation, 2 years in oak barrels followed by 2 years ageing in bottle.

Tasting Notes
Red color with violet tones. In nose is perceived spiced, with a light fragrance to vanilla, chocolate and dry fruits. Leave a good remembrance of its fragrances after taking it.

Suggested foods
Ideal for the most traditional Argentinean foods: red meats and pastas.


 

QUINTA GENERACION MALBEC  


Grapes: Malbec 100%.

Vinification
10 days of fermentation in contact with skin at 30º C, malolactic fermentation, 1 year in oak barrels followed by 1 years ageing in bottle.

Tasting Notes
A wine of very high structure, good body, characteristic complex for guard.

Suggested foods
Perfect with meat dishes of all kinds, especially with sauces, and all classic Mediterranean and International cuisine.


 
CENTENARIO


Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%.

Vinification
10 days of fermentation in contact with skin at 30º C, malolactic fermentation, 2 years in oak barrels followed by 2 years ageing in bottle.

Tasting Notes
Top premium wine from the vineyard. This is a special selection from our vineyard No.18 of Villa Atuel, planted with vines Cabernet Sauvignon more than 100 years old. Delicious and intense palate. Vigorous varietal aroma, with good colour and fine oak character. Red deep. Full bodied, but matches finesse with richness

Suggested foods
Delicious with Red meat and dishes with seasoning and dressings.


CABERNET SAUVIGNON  


Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%

Vinification
7 days of fermentation in contact with skin, 1 year in the bottle and no oak.

Tasting Notes
A rich, smooth red wine with aromas of berry fruit and soft plummy flavours.

Suggested foods
Delicious with red meats, especially good steak, stews and ham.


 
MALBEC


Grapes: Malbec 100%.

Vinification
The fermentation, although classic, was carried out by "delestage" system, macerating the cold unfermented grape juice with the solid parts of the grape for six days at high temperature. The malolactic fermentation took place afterwards. The finished wine was matured in tanks, for eighteen months, with a little oak ageing.

Tasting Notes
Plum red color. Delicate nose, dry fruits, walnut, lightly spiced. Well combined smoked wood. Soft and fruity with little tannin. Good blackberryish flavour.

Suggested foods
Perfect with meat dishes of all kinds, especially with sauces, and all classic Mediterranean and International cuisine.

 

SYRAH
 


Grapes: Syrah 100%.

Vinification
7 days of fermentation in contact with skin without oak. Then the fermentation is stopped at 5° C, it filters and left in tanks during 20 days. It remains 6 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes
A fruity red wine, with a deep brilliant red ruby colour and well balanced, full of ripe plummy fruit with a soft finish, easy drinking.

Suggested foods
Ideal with red meat,
stews and pasta, or even drinking on its own.

 

SYRAH - MERLOT


Grapes: Syrah 50%, 50% Merlot

Vinification
10 days of fermentation in contact with skin, followed by malolactic fermentation and 6 months in bottle, without wood.

Tasting Notes
This is a wine with a deep and long palate. Deep brilliant red ruby color and well balanced. Ripe, juicy fruit - easy drinking - Argentina's answer to Beaujolais and good vin-de-pays. It combines perfectly a gentle aroma of fruits and spices.

Suggested foods
Ideal with red meat, stews and pasta, or even drinking on its own.


CHARDONNAY


Grapes: Chardonnay 100%

Vinification
Fermented 12 hours in contact with skin at 12º C, in tanks without malolactic fermentation and without oak.

Tasting Notes
Is a delightfully creamy dry white wine, it has a rounded palate, good acid balance and a striking persistence.

Suggested foods
Perfect with shellfish and seafood in general or for drinking on its own.

SAUVIGNON BLANC


Grapes: Sauvignon blanc 85%, Chenin blanc 15%.

Vinification
Fermented 6 hours in contact with the skin. Fermentation at 14º C, without malolactic fermentation and without wood.

Tasting Notes
It is a light, fresh, slightly flowery wine with a ripe, rich finish.

Suggested foods
Ideal for the Summer. Perfect accompaniment for aperitifs, pasta and seafood.

CHARDONNAY - TOCAI FRIULANO


Grapes: 50% Chardonnay and 50% Tocai friulano.

Vinification
Fermented 6 hours in contact with t he skin. Fermentation at 14º C, without malolactic fermentation and without wood.

Tasting Notes
The wine has a rounded palate yet has good acid balance and a striking persistence.

Suggested foods
Perfect with shellfish and seafood in general or for drinking on its own.

MERLOT ROSE


Grapes: Merlot 100%

Vinification
Fermented in cold, short, in tanks and racked before finishing the complete alcohol transformation, without oak..

Tasting Notes
A young, aromatic and sensual wine. Slight sweetness and with light palate that one hopes of rosé. Gorgeous crushed strawberry fruit - fresh, lively and hugely drinkable. Very easy to drink. Serve chilled and serve it soon.

Suggested foods
Ideal, cold, for seafood and candies or desserts.
